"I could just look at your all day, darlin'" is what my Memaw said to Hollis more times than one yesterday while we visited. Hollis and I took a short drive to my grandparents for a visit and it was so nice to get out. Memaw would have held Hollis all day if I let her, and Hollis was just as comfortable in her arms.
My Memaw loves looking at pictures of Hollis. I send her text messages with pictures of her, and my Grandad told me that she looks at those same pictures a couple times a day. How sweet is that?
Hollis brings so much joy to everyone!

Daddy Love
Hollis LOVES her Daddy. She will search for him in a room once she hears his voice, and loves locking eyes with him. Here's a few of my favorite Hollis & Daddy pictures. I could watch them for hours...it's the sweetest thing! I pray that they have a special bond all of her life.

It won't be like this for long
I never want to forget these sweet moments.
Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth,
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing and butter the bread,
Sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She’s up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.
Oh, I’ve grown shiftless as Little Boy Blue
(Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo).
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
(Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo).
The shopping’s not done and there’s nothing for stew
And out in the yard there’s a hullabaloo
But I’m playing Kanga and this is my Roo.
Look! Aren’t her eyes the most wonderful hue?
(Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo).
The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
For children grow up, as I’ve learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep.

Special Visitors
Today Ryan went out of town for work. It was so hard to watch him leave this morning, as he's only been away from us during work hours. Hollis had a 1 month well check at the doctor today, which included her Hep B shot. I was a nervous wreck about going by myself, so I called my Memaw and she came with us! It was great having her there for support! Hollis checked out well and the doctor said "Hollis is just perfect". She hated the shot (who likes them?!), it was just pitiful.
This evening my Dad came over to help with Hollis. He brought me dinner, helped with bathtime, fed Hollis a bottle, and cuddle sweet Hollis!
We are so blessed to have such a supportive and loving family!
