Easter With Dad's Crew

On Easter Sunday, we went to church and then to my Memaw's house for Easter lunch. My Memaw always makes a fabulous lunch and dessert. She very rarely asks anyone to bring anything, because she enjoys making it all and spooling her family. After we ate lunch we did our traditional Easter egg hunt. All of my cousins are grown (17 y/o being the youngest and Ryan and I being the oldest) but we still do the hunt! It's a fun tradition that has us all acting like kids again...really though, we are all looking for the eggs of money or prize egg! ;) I love that we are a family of traditions. I have some sweet memories as a little girl doing Easter at my Memaw's!

Easter With The McIver's

We celebrated Easter on Saturday with Ryan's family. We had a delicious italian dinner at Ryan's Aunt Kristy and Uncle Paul's house. I love when we get together over there, because they have the perfect home for hosting. They have a mini farm in their yard with goats, chickens, turkeys, fish etc. Hollis had the best time riding on her Daddy's shoulders while checking out the animals. We also got the sweetest laugh from her when Ryan would run after the chickens while holding her. So fun!

After we ate dinner, we did an indoor (because of the rain) egg hunt for the girls. The big girls did a great job finding all the eggs, while Hollis and JJ watched! After the egg hunt, Farrah and Bella got to fetch REAL chicken eggs from the coop! They were so proud of their buckets of eggs. We had a great Easter with Ryan's family!
