Christmas night we went to Ryan's parents house for a sleep over! It was such a fun night and another tradition I love! We started with a delicious meal and then exchanged gifts. After presents, we put the babies to sleep and changed in to our matching pajamas and played games! We played a fun version of Uno (I think it was called Pirate Uno) that had us all laughing so hard! I love hanging with the McIver's...I always feel so loved and ALWAYS laugh so hard that I cry.
The next morning Nana and G-Daddy cooked a big breakfast for us all. I LOVED spending that quality time with Ryan's family. The kids had fun and the big kids had an even greater time!
To me, Christmas is all about being with those that you love and creating memories. This Christmas was definitely filled with just that!
(I didn't get a lot of pictures, because my camera battery had died! But, thankfully my bro-in-law, Chris took some great shots!)

Christmas Morning!
Christmas morning started with cuddles in our bed once Hollis woke up. After cuddling for a while we all got dressed and headed down stairs to start our Christmas morning! My Dad (PawPaw) and brother came over to join in on the fun. Growing up, my PawPaw would stop by our house on Christmas morning and make us breakfast (his cat head biscuits were the best!) and spend time with us before heading to the next house. I love that my Dad is creating that tradition for Hollis. She absolutely adores her Paw Paw. My Memaw also came by to spend some time with us... for as long as I can remember, she has come to our house on Christmas morning! Matter of fact, she makes her rounds to all 7 of her Grandchildren's homes on Christmas morning...she is a memory maker!
Once we got downstairs, Hollis enjoyed looking at the presents Santa brought her (Gator ball popper, foam letters for the bath, Mum Mums, a bath mat and stackable rings) while PawPaw started breakfast. We took our time opening gifts and enjoyed watching Hollis rip the paper and play with the bows. Christmas with a child is so exciting and I know with each year it will be become more fun. This year though, I enjoyed creating our own Christmas traditions and soaking in all the memories.
My heart was so full Christmas morning. The ambiance of the fire, scent of coffee brewing and bacon frying, giggles from Hollis and slowness of the morning was just perfect.

Christmas Eve Night
After we did Christmas at my Mom's, we headed home so Hollis could nap and then we went to my Mema and Grandad's that evening. Christmas Eve at my Grandparent's has been a tradition since I was a little girl. I've always loved going there as a child and I love it now, too. This year my cousin Tiffany cooked an absolutely amazing dinner! Tiffany is a phenomenal chef and everything she makes is mouth watering!
Christmas Eve is always very relaxing (well, not when we were kids! haha) at my Grandparents. We enjoy a large meal together, open gifts and enjoy each others company. My Grandfather always opens an aged bottle of wine to toast with and share with the family. I believe this year it was a bottle of Silver Oak... I don't remember the year, but man it was delicious! I also have to mention that my Grandad is an awesome gift giver (maybe my Mom gets it from him?), he has picked out several adorable outfits for Hollis! For Christmas, he usually always gifts my Mema some clothes (amongst other gifts)and he ALWAYS nails it! He should be a personal shopper! He also picked out and ADORABLE back pack for Hollis; I love it and can't wait for Hollis to use it!
