Mommy Love

I love this sweet girl more than words could tell. I love waking her up for feedings and seeing that sweet smile. I love her grunts. I love watching her kick and talk on her activity mat. I love watching her with her Daddy. I love snuggling with her on the couch while Daddy and I watch our show. I love that gummy smile that could turn any bad day into a great one. I love dressing her in cute clothes and finding a bow to match. I love cooking dinner at night while singing songs to her. I love watching Daddy give her a bath. I even love those little but loud toots. I'm not sure what we ever did without you, Hollis!

Shop 'Til You Drop

Yesterday, Hollis and I met my best friends and their kids at the mall! It was Hollis' first (of many) mall trips. I loved shopping with my girls while giving our honest opinions on lipstick colors and shirt choices, talking about our babies milestones, and laughing at the awkward things we do and say. We had a little stroller brigade while we walked the crowded mall and it was cracking me up.

Natalie and Jessica are the kind of friends you wish for. They have been by my side since elementary and middle school and it's always been an unwavering friendship amongst the three of us. I love that God has placed the three of us in the same season of life...happy in love with sweet babies. This was the first of many playdates and I can't WAIT until Hollis, Noah and Ella are old enough to run around together. I pray that they have a friendship like their Mama's do!

This picture of Hollis cracks me up! Her headband kept sliding down her head...at one point it was covering her eyes! Too funny!

My Heart

My favorite time of the day is when Daddy gets home and loves on his girl. It makes my heart melt. I've never known a love this great. They are my whole heart.

My Sunshine

I love snail mail and love when it is filled with cute surprises! A couple weeks ago, my sweet friend Emily mailed Hollis these sunglasses AND a precious little dress. Thank you, Emily for thinking of us...you are so thoughtful! We love these baby sunnies and think they just look darling on her! Baby accessories are just the cutest!

Clean Laundry

Last night, Ryan and I had several things to carry upstairs and both of our hands were full. We could have easily made a second trip but why do that? We are totally the type that will break our arms by carrying in ALL the groceries at once just to avoid making a second trip to the car. Lazy? No. Efficient? YES! Instead of making a second trip downstairs last night to grab the clean laundry, I decided to add Hollis to the pile and carry it all up at once. She was TOO cute in the basket not to photograph. She looked super comfortable too.

Sleeping Beauty

When Hollis is tired, boy does she let you know it. Right now, she has a hard time soothing herself to sleep. She LOVES sleeping on my chest and in her snug-a-bunny swing. I would let her sleep on me all day if I could.

Today we were at the post office and she LOST it. She cried the entire way home until she was out of her carseat and in the comfort of my arms. Sweet girl fell asleep in just a couple of minutes. After about 30 mins this Mama had to use the restroom, so I laid her on the couch while I stepped a way for a moment. I always put her to sleep on her back, but it looks like she may be a tummy sleeper once she is old enough. She slept right through me putting her down and snapping pictures. I LOVE staring at her and praising God for this gift.
